To bring these emails into Microsoft 365, you need to import them using Outlook. When Outlook opens, you see your old G Suite Gmail account that was set up previously. When you see all of the imported emails, calendar, and contacts from G Suite in your new Microsoft 365 account, you can right-click the data file and close it.Īfter you connect your domain to Microsoft 365 and email is working, you're ready to set up Outlook for your Microsoft 365 email, calendar, and contacts. Verify that you're importing the file to the correct Inbox, and choose Finish. On the Import Outlook Data File page, browse to the location where you saved the backup file, choose Open, and then choose Next in the wizard. On the Import a File page, choose Outlook Data File, and then choose Next. In the Import and Export Wizard, choose Import from another program or file, and then choose Next.
